Born and raised in southwest Virginia, Alex has always had a taste for adventure. In her experience, confidence and willingness to take risks are the foundation of a fulfilling life.

Michelle loves cycling, specifically competitive track cycling and triathlons. She is the VP of New Business & Engagement for Barrows and former Executive Director for the Boys & Girls Club of SWVA.

As a native of southwest Virginia, Jaime grew up spending much of her childhood outdoors and appreciates the beauty and tranquility of the Blue Ridge Mountains. She is Assistant Controller for Marsh & McLennan Agency.

By day, Sarah is a nonprofit marketing professional at Carilion Clinic. In her free time, you can find her biking, hiking, or dreaming up her next travel plan.

Alison Matthiessen is a Strategic Communications Project Manager at HDR with a public relations background who loves spending time with her family outside.

Meredith Carty is the owner and Principal Designer at Jones Street Creative, a brand design studio in Roanoke. As a former coach with Girls on the Run and a volunteer with The Wild Way, she's watched girls try something new, feel unsure, do it anyway, and walk away a little braver.
