Situational Awareness and Self-Defense: Saturday, March 9 (click here to enroll)

  • Krav Maga Roanoke 219 South Electric Road Salem, VA, 24153 United States (map)

Learn ways to feel safe and CONFIDENT in the outdoors and in your community.

The Wild Way believes that women should feel empowered and safe while enjoying the outdoors. We’re working with Krav Maga Roanoke to hold an educational workshop on how to remain aware, alert, and in-control in the outdoors (and everywhere else!) Basic self-defense helps girls build the CONFIDENCE necessary to continue their outdoor interests into adulthood. The Wild Way is enrolling girls ages 9 to 14 in this event.

TRANSPORTATION: Please note that transportation for this event will NOT be provided. You will be responsible for dropping off and picking up your child. More details on drop-off and pick-up will be provided in a follow-up email.

If your child would like to join us but transportation is a barrier to her participation, please email us at info@thewildway.org so we can try to find a solution.

PAYMENT: The Wild Way’s activities are offered on a sliding scale fee. After filling out the application below, you will be directed to a site where you can make your preferred contribution amount. Our services are FREE to families in need. Please don’t hesitate to request a fee waiver.
