Apply to participate in The Wild Way! At this time, The Wild Way is enrolling girls ages 9 to 14.

Dragon’s Tooth is an Appalachian Trail classic, and it’s right in Roanoke’s backyard!

This hike is challenging 5-mile hike that includes some rock scrambling. Hiking experience (and some good ol’ fashioned grit) is recommended. We promise that the view is worth the work.

Transportation WILL be provided for this event. We will meet at 8am at Wasena Park to travel to the McAfee Knob trailhead. We will be back at Wasena Park for pick-up by approximately 1pm.
