It’s fall, y’all! Come explore Bottom Creek Gorge with us and admire the beautiful autumn colors.
Bottom Creek Gorge is a natural preserve in Montgomery County that is home to the second highest waterfall in Virginia. It has several trails, all of which are easy and accessible for beginner hikers. This event is led by Wild Wayfarer Caroline Welfare, a Wild Way alumni with a love for the outdoors. Come wander the trails with us while we learn about local plant life, geology, and the cute critters who call the forest home.
This event is open to girls ages 9 to 14.
