Yoga, Mindfulness, & Art with Uttara

This past weekend, we relaxed our minds and bodies with some yoga, mindfulness, and art at Uttara Yoga Studio. Owner and instructor Laura Leonard led us through a beginner-friendly yoga flow, followed by some fun partner poses that helped the girls make new friends. We also discussed mindfulness and the importance of being present, and we applied our mindfulness practice to eating and experiencing different types of pineapple. Finally, we ended the session by making some mala beads so the girls can continue mindfulness at home.
