Fillin’ the Boat

Best 4th of July weekend EVER. The Wild Way went fishing with Wesley Hodges Fly Fishing on the James River last weekend and absolutely filled our boats. With a private instructor for every two girls, they learned the basics of fly fishing and practiced their casting skills.

We pulled out the spin rods too and caught an unbelievable 96 fish (mainly small mouth bass) across our 7 boats!! A few were over 14 inches long. This ain’t a fishing tall tale! These girls are true anglers.
