Exploring at Carvin’s Cove
A sunny day spent paddling Carvin’s Cove. In case you all haven’t noticed, the water is low. REALLY low. It changes the geography of the cove dramatically, but it also provides opportunity for new exploration.
We talked about the Happy Valley community that used to be in the valley before it was flooded to create a reservoir—there was even a small amusement park! We had some fun searching around for remains and artifacts, and we felt amazed (and a bit creeped out) by what was deep under the water’s surface.
