Everyday Magic at Green Hill Park

There’s something pretty magical about pitching a tent. Not only is it empowering to learn how to do it all on your own, but crawling inside even makes adults feel like they’re in their own little personal fort. We had a few girls pitch and chill out in their first tent, and they became intrigued by this whole camping concept. Sometimes it only takes a spark like this to ignite a lifelong passion!

Volunteer Rayna also showed off her sweet camping gear and talked about all the fun things you can do when spending the night outside. We were joined again by Leah Waldo for a mindfulness and yoga session and ended the day at Shrewd Archery.
