Breathe In, Breathe Out

It is a busy time of year and it’s important to stay grounded and practice a little mindfulness. And did you know one of the coolest things about mindfulness is that you can do it anytime, anywhere, with anything?! By learning to pay attention — on purpose and with curiosity — mindfulness can help children and teens (and all of us for that matter!) build resilience, stay calm in the face of challenges, and learn to appreciate themselves and their surroundings in a whole new way.

We try and incorporate techniques such as mindful breathing and mindful movement in many of our programs. The girls had to stay present and focused in one of our recent yoga activities!

Check out the article in the comments to learn more about mindfulness and ways you can incorporate the practices in your daily life.
